“Beautiful home, responsive host, quiet retreat.The home is very quiet and nice. Location was exactly what we wanted for star gazing. Lamps, lamps, lamps would be my only suggestion. There is no mood lighting. It’s either, all overhead lights on in a room at full brightness or none. There are no lamps or dimmer switches to offer a dimmer, more relaxing option. Thats an easy fix :).Fabric softener would be nice as well. ;)We recommend the stay for tranquility for sure.”

“Great location, had fun playing in water and exploring with the kids. Ran crawfish traps and made a delicious Alfredo. Huge perk was the playground/small park directly adjacent to rental. The kitchen was minimally stocked so if you plan to cook be sure to bring you own seasonings, critical utensils, etc.”

“The property and location are terrific. But the most impressive aspect that sets this property and owner apart from other properties is how quickly the owner responded to a heating problem we reported only late on a Friday afternoon. I don't know how they got a service person there so quickly, but I know how much I appreciated that they made it happen. Lots of properties are good until there is a problem. This one is always good.”

“The first thing I will say is that this property is CLEAN. Like spotless. And I'm pretty picky. It's also wonderfully appointed with everything you could possibly need or want --- even dishes and silverware for little kids!!! Both my husband (who likes hard beds) and I (who prefers a soft bed) slept well in the king bed. All the lights dim!!!! Gorgeous views, great night sky. Fire pit! Quiet neighborhood (except for the hum of the highway, which is kind of unavoidable in the area). High……

“This house is nicely located in an overall quiet neighborhood not far off a main road for easy and quick access. Amanda gets all the stars for great communication leading up to, and during our stay. We had no issues while we were in their home for two nights. It was comfortable for seven of us with two bedrooms and the kiddos in the living room. During the day the large kitchen and open layout provided us a nice place to hang out and relax. Plenty of seating as well, and cozy blankets. The beds……
