“Beautifully appointed home reminding us of our mountain home in Pennsylvania. Perfect for a long weekend get away from phoenix heat. The master bed was so, so comfortable, loved being able to cook with gas/propane once again. Many signs of elk as we hiked up a gravel/dirt road nearby. Discovered all we really needed to do was sit on the patio in the evening, as the elk came up through the trees behind the house. Truly enjoyed our stay.”

“We loved every moment of our stay. Such a well kept, clean home. The home had everything and anything you could need. My only small criticism is that the fence going into the horse pasture was not secure at the bottom. I was afraid my little dog would go under and bother the horse. Other than that would definitely stay again!”

“My blind husband and I had been separated for medical reasons for 3 months and wanted to just get away alone for a few days. We found the cabin online and spent 6 days. It was perfect! Tara was extremely helpful and they thought of everything to furnish the cabin with our needs. Even plenty of towels. The cabin was immaculate! We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We will gladly stay there again! ”

“This house is nicely located in an overall quiet neighborhood not far off a main road for easy and quick access. Amanda gets all the stars for great communication leading up to, and during our stay. We had no issues while we were in their home for two nights. It was comfortable for seven of us with two bedrooms and the kiddos in the living room. During the day the large kitchen and open layout provided us a nice place to hang out and relax. Plenty of seating as well, and cozy blankets. The beds……

“Spent 4 nights and would have loved to have spent 4 weeks. Beautiful views off the back deck, peaceful, stress free way to relax. Cabin was well furnished and very comfortable. Enjoyed seeing elk every day come right up to the cabin and even had a bunch of javelina show up the first night around the fire pit. Would definitely rent again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin. ”

“It was as described and had nice view of mountains. It is close to town making for easy commutes to local attractions.”

“Had a great time. There were a few beer cans in the yard upon arrival and a broken table up on the trailhead that needed to be cleaned up. The toilet was leaky and the water pressure was not good. Otherwise the stay was really great. Was set up for a large gathering. Need Coffee filters and kitchen towels. We needed more blankets in February as the house is chilly. The property is beautiful, driveway a little steep and instructions to get to the property could use some further details for late……

“Really enjoyed the patio, it being half covered and the other open. The heavily wooded property was a huge plus, part of the Payson experience. The home is comfortable, more than adequate supplies to cook with. The beds were comfortable as well. Parking worked well. ”

“We had an amazing time and couldnt have asked for better accomodations. Great location, quite neighhorhood, and close to everythjng Payson has to offer. As a bonus, the backyard was very enjoyable and our digs absolutely loved it. The fact that everything in the hone was useable was a huge plus too. “We stayed for six nights for our 34th anniversary. This was the best vaca we have ever had! The cabin is beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfortable and our host provided everything we needed. The only con was having to leave this paradise! Thank you Faye for a wonderful celebration.”

“Great location, had fun playing in water and exploring with the kids. Ran crawfish traps and made a delicious Alfredo. Huge perk was the playground/small park directly adjacent to rental. The kitchen was minimally stocked so if you plan to cook be sure to bring you own seasonings, critical utensils, etc.”
