“This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more.”

“What an amazing week at the Lodge. Just sitting on the porch in the mornings with coffee, blankets and a fire was worth the trip alone, but the location provided endless activities. The Lodge had all the basic things we needed and lots of thoughtful touches. Very well taken care of and uniquely beautiful landscaping. Thank you!!”

“This a fantastic house, especially if you have kids in your group!! We had eight adults and seven kids, ranging from 2 to 12 years old. Our stay was in August. We used both canoes, the kayak, and the paddle board every day! We also used several of the bicycles, some of the beach toys, and the beach umbrella. The foosball table was in constant use. “The cabin was awesome. It was far enough back from the main road that we didn't get a lot of traffic, but it was close enough that we walked to the lake. “Family stayed at this house over the weekend and we all had a blast! The views are incredible and the house is amazing! I give this rental a 10/10!From the fishing, jet skiing and family time. House provided board games in the pool table room. Plenty of space to sleep. Sheets and the entire house was very clean. Beds and showers and bathrooms were all very clean. “The cabin was perfectly located for our weekend snowmobiling adventure with HighLine Adventures at Kingvale. Close enough so that those who tired early could walk back to the cabin which is cozy, warm and nicely appointed. It was so nice that any time we were not on the snow, we spent back at the cabin rather than driving into Truckee. Lots of space for playing games, cooking, and telling tales. “This was first time in the area, We had most wonderful stay at hodge podge lodge. The house was beautiful and sparking clean, well organized and have everything what we needed for stay. It located in nice neighborhood near soda spring ski resort. The house was warm and cozy , heater was good , wood stove was nice touch with plenty of firewood supplies. The bedroom was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was big plus to have easy in and out drive way to the house. We definitely recommend……
