“Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that……

“I liked having nature around me and its fulfilling breathtaking beauty. The owners/staff are very friendly and understanding; beautiful people. It was a pleasure to meet them. Hearing a river flowing and the tranquil sounds of a waterfall on the property; amazing to both fall asleep to and awaken to. Hummingbirds to admire, a swimming pool, soccer field, volley ball, a kids playground for families with younger ones, a walking path, hammocks, and breakfast provided. I had my own car and speak……

They made me feel like a member of the family. The property was beautiful and well maintained, and my cabin sat right on Mindo River.
