“Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that……

“I liked having nature around me and its fulfilling breathtaking beauty. The owners/staff are very friendly and understanding; beautiful people. It was a pleasure to meet them. Hearing a river flowing and the tranquil sounds of a waterfall on the property; amazing to both fall asleep to and awaken to. “I loved my stay at River Song. I was offered an upgrade for no charge upon my arrival. The family who owns River Song were so friendly and kind and welcoming. They made me feel like a member of the family. The property was beautiful and well maintained, and my cabin sat right on Mindo River. The family helped me arrange transportation and helped with tour information. I would definitely stay at River Song again!”

“Loved staying here! The manager was super nice and greeted us with a warm welcome. Everyone at this boutique hotel was well trained and hospitable. The view from our room was incredible and I can't wait to come back to visit this hotel as well as the Cloud Forest again!”
