“Hey there, just got back from a trip to Ecuador and I have to let you know about this place "Yumbo Spa & Resort". You have to check it out. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and re-connect with your love one. It sits in the middle of the Andean rain-forest about an hour out of Mindo. The grounds are beautiful and filled with many exotic birds, trees and animals. The owner, Pedro and his staff and family are the best. It is an all inclusive place (breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks,……

“the casa is up a road away from the town so you have to get a taxi to anywhere except the tarabita to the waterfalls. The environment is lush and beautiful. The room of the cabin was spacious and clean and comfortable. The first night I stayed there was an accident which knocked out power to Mindo for most of the day, I think the water heater was electric and thus there was no hot water. The staff were very nice and helpful. I did not take meals at the casa so can’t comment on the food.”
