“This was a neat place to stay in the heart of the old part of Stone Town. Quaint, but with modern amenities like AC. I had a private bathroom down the hall which was clean and not far. Older building with stairs but I enjoyed my stay and felt it was worth it for sure.”

Breakfast was quite delicious, with a general mix of an omlette, crepes, fruit and/or vegetables; it does change if you stay more than a day. A nice place to stay if you can work remote. No TVs in the rooms for those who care.”

“I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled……
