“This place is a true gem! Not only is it close to Lake Tahoe but the resort itself is in a forest and close to Tahoe rim trail and other hikes and they have their own ski and sled area that also serves hot tea and lunch. Their restaurant in the main lodge serves dinner and has decent food and amazing ambiance with a huge fire place. The room had 2 comfy beds and plenty of pillows. The heating was good too. ”

Upstairs bedrooms each have their own bathroom with a common shower area, which was really neat for two sets of couples. Plenty of space for several people and wide-open common area.Only two things we didn't like. First was that it is right next to the main road, so you do get some road noise.
