“Great little casita, on the mountain above Las Ropas playa. Everything was as advertised, but we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the house is. The only “ heads up” I can offer: there are 60 steps up, quite steep and a bit rugged. After a week our legs were used to it, but it’s not for everyone!The casita is a bit isolated, which means quiet-great view-private. About 1km to the Las Ropas beach turnoff. About 2km to the nearest OXXO store. Or a 5 taxi ride to El Centro where you can buy……

“We’re a family, and this home in Mexico was everything we could have hoped for—and more. It was so beautiful and peaceful, it was honestly hard to leave to go to the beach or do the touristy things we came for!Each bedroom was its own private suite, which gave everyone space to relax. The outdoor areas were incredible—perfect for lounging, eating, and enjoying the warm breeze just steps from the beach, restaurants, and the boardwalk.The entire property was spotless and felt like having a private……

“We had to find other accommodation after we had actually arrived there, because VRBO gave the owners until 3PM on the arrival day to contact us.By that point all the nicer places were rented already, and we had to move 3 times to different locations because it was peak season.VRBO should drop this listing ”

“We loved staying in the bungalow. It was very relaxing”

“We stayed in Villa Del Sol for one week. The listing and pictures do it justice. The location on Thompson grounds is wonderful and inviting. The beach chairs everyday were very easy to request, both ladies at the help desk were exceptional. Emir checking us in did a fantastic job. This is an older building but a lot of work has gone into the upkeep. This is a tropical location so there are some tiny anty friends that like to come and visit if you don't do a good job of cleaning up after you are……

“The Villa was espectacular . The overall experience was outstanding. We very impressed of how clean and organized the Villa was, it gives you a very peaceful vibe . The staff was very attentive, and on point. The food that was prepared was all delicious. The pictures were actually as is in person. “Everything about this property was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable and well outfitted. Close to La Madera beach, Malecon, many shops and restaurants. Trips to the mercado were interesting and rewarding, but there's a convenience store close by as well. The hosts offering to pick up some groceries and stock the fridge in advance was a huge bonus. The shaded pool was perfect after climbing the stair back from the beach or from town. We expect to book again. JC”
