“This is a family run hotel. We had an apartment. Basic but very clean and the family are renovating the rooms so they will change soon. Extremely friendly and helpful. Ramona, Danny and family speak a variety of languages - especially Ramona. They could not do enough for you. We arrived after 11pm in the evening and they greeted us and showed us to our rooms. Departing they let us know we could stay as long as we wanted as our flight was not until the evening. Food is really good and I……

“The overall stay was very good and we had a good time. Our cabin was not really up to date and the photos submitted a different feeling. It was okay but pretty simple and useful. We could not use the closet because it was only stuff for hanging things. We really liked how the whole area was designed and that they planted vegetables all around. ”

This is a very special place to stay and well worth making the ferry trip to Kalymnos - the staff go the extra mile with everything and clearly really enjoy their job. “This property is such a gem, the rooms and amazing and honestly you cannot go wrong with any of them but more than that the staff are really nice. I have allergies and they were ON IT. They made sure that I didn’t have anything with my allergens and offered alternatives. Everyone is really nice and accommodating, it’s rare to find a hotel that is stunning with incredible service. I’ll be back! If you’re looking to get around the island would plan to rent a car since the hotel is an oasis but……

“We stayed for one night, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. However, we were disappointed with the sea view from our room. The balcony wall was too high and made of concrete, obstructing the view significantly. The sea view was also partial and quite distant, which did not meet our expectations. The front desk staff tried to assist us by offering another room, but unfortunately, the view was still not as we had hoped. Despite this, all the staff were very friendly and made our stay……

“Location is ok, room a bit dated but still fine. Staff is amazing, Food and beverage are awful, which ruined our holiday. My daughter has type2 diabetes which can be controlled with balanced diet. We always find food in all inclusive for her but not here. The food was undercooked, unseasoned, repetateve and mostly red meat. We stayed 1 week and no chicken breast was served during our stay!!!! The hotel was informed about her condition, but the chef couldn't provide anything which can fit in her……

“Excellent stay at Nissia Kamares. The area was quiet and safe, a very short walk away from local amenities, restaurants and beach. The hotel is decorated to a very modern standard. The hotel grounds are beautiful and picturesque. Staff are all externally helpful. We hired a car to explore and the hotel had free self parking/car park which was a huge bonus. ”
