“Birthday getaway which was very relaxed at The Station House Hotel. Great location for easy walk into the Main Street and handy for Ballymacool Park, which is on the same side of town. The room was spacious and clean. Music from the function room kept my daughter awake, but it didn't disrupt my sleep either of the two nights we stayed. Perhaps something to consider if you're a light sleeper.”

“Gorgeous property with friendly staff. Beautiful room with comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay even though we were placed in the adjacent building without elevator (carrying our heavy luggage upstairs was a pain). The restaurant is wonderful, but the spa was closed during our stay, bummer! Check the schedule if planning on using the spa”

“Excellent accommodation. Wee perks of a hotel were included like towels, toiletries, water in the fridge, coffee etc but it was way better than a hotel due to the space and facilities, especially when travelling as a family. We were deciding between a hotel down the road and here, definitely made the right choice. ”

“As a sales representative I travel the 32 counties ,value for money is important but the basices of Wifi and parking are also as important. On arrival there were signes around the hotel offering apologies for the lack of wifi service. This was not mentioned during the booking and was not reflected in the room price. I stayed 3 nights and the room was cleaned each day, to a good standard but did not have the shampoo bottle replaced. ”

“Quietly stumbled upon this B&B while looking for a place in the area for my short visit to the area. It was beautiful property up a slight hill. The view I had while eating breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Dining options were close enough to walk, but driving would be best. Noreen was so very accommodating, even so much as to let me use her phone to make a call to previous hotel where I forgot something behind. “Beautiful hotel and great food. Very friendly staff. Our accommodation was in the Lodge which is great value. Only disappointments were that the upstairs area wasn’t available and there weren’t any of the nice homemade choc cookies on offer in the communal tea making area both of which we enjoyed on our previous stay.”

“Beautiful location with direct beach access. Could do with some TLC around the property along with more kitchen utensils, mugs, pans etc. Could only find a couple of towels for 8 people, fortunately we had taken a few with us.”
