“If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.”

“This is a quirky property due to its age but the accommodation was excellent. Having parking is such an asset in Lyme Regis too. We had a room with a balcony which was perfect for sitting doing nothing but the hotel had a comfortable lounge too. Breakfast felt rather grand in the panelled room but we had easy access from our room rather than up the main staircase. Staff were welcoming and friendly. It was only the visit to the kitchen by the Health and Safety Officer that caused the chief……

“Fantastic stay. We were allowed to check in really early on our day of arrival, which made it an even better stay. Checked in around 9am. We stayed in room number 4, which was located at the back of the hotel. Lovely room ,which was immaculate in decor and cleanliness.Nice sized ensuite with a lovely shower. Nice touch with the complimentary biscuits and toiletries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
