“What a lovely hotel and pub, staff were helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. ”

“Everyone should visit Manor House and West Bexington. Quiet, personal and good for your soul. The rooms (or the room we had) had a somewhat poorer standard than the common areas. But net and clean and I had the best night sleep at Manor House during my vacation. Staff and locals made you feel at home and cared for at the best way possible. ”

“Lovely hotel with friendly staff in great location. It has recently been taken over by new management and they are planning on tidying it up, which it needs in some areas. (For example frayed carpet on stairs.) But the room was comfortable and we were upgraded for free to a bigger room as there was space. Trevor and Scott were both ver helpful. Location perfect and next to some great restaurants and bars.”

It's situated in a picturesque village a few miles from Lulworth Cove and Durdell Dore. We really enjoyed our stay, and along with a number of International guests were made to feel very welcome. We would happily return and definitely recommend it to other visitors. ”

“I had a great short stay, our host and staff were lovely, I was made to feel very welcome on arrival and was given just the right amount of information about my stay, which did come in useful. My room was a good size, very very clean and tidy, I had a great view of the harbour and was very happy with my choice. I will look forward to staying again when I go back to Weymouth. I will not run the risk of trying somewhere else and being disappointed , which I think, I would be as the standard……

“Lovely rooms with big open windows. Nice view. Staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. They even found me real milk instead of the dreaded UHT milk. Shower was and plentiful after a days walking. Smuggles inn is about 1km from bus stop through farmers paddock. Food was awesome especially the breakfast provided ”

“A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.”
