“Lovely old style pub with beams with a stream set in a valley leading to the beach just relaxing peaceful beautiful setting lovely for a couple to stay which we were rooms was lovely very cosy and homely feel super clean lovely bed just such a nice experience with a included breakfast traditional and continental which was locally produced ingredients xx”

“Even before I arrived, Nicola texted me to let me know the room was ready earlier than the standard check in time, and how to get the key from the key box. The location was probably one of the best spots in Weymouth.....harbour one side, beach literally across the road the other. When I arrived, I got the key, and stayed in Room 3. It is compact, with just a bed, sink, TV and complimentary tray......but it was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the window was……

“The Staff were very welcoming as soon as we arrived. The waitress at breakfast was lovely and the housekeeper was very helpful. The Hotel and room was very clean. All round an excellent place to stay.”

“We were warmly welcomed and given the keys early, and able to drop our bags off, so we could come back when the room was ready and let ourselves in. The room was small but had two chairs by the window which was lovely for looking out at the beach whilst enjoying a cup of tea in the morning. The fridge was great for keeping drinks cool and being able to use fresh milk was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and the cooked breakfast ingredients were of a high quality. ”

“The room was ensuite and well equipped and we found the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options. We had the full English breakfast and were delighted with the high quality of the bacon etc. The swimming pool was heated and was available from early morning to late evening. The host -Craig - was always very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there again whenever visiting that area of Devon. ”
