“Fabulous stay for girls weekend! Lovely setting with wonderful walking trails that only require a moderately hard climb up. The room had a terrace that was perfect for a cup of tea and a rest. The restaurant was very good with a wonderful breakfast and dinner menu. You should pay ahead for parking, but the lot is just over the square from the hotel, so very convenient. Would most definitely stay again!”

“The Smugglers Inn was delightful. The staff were all extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food was excellent, we had dinner there which was really good (advise booking it was full when we were there), and breakfast was great. Delicious choice of different fresh croissants, and fruit and cereal options. Full menu with lots to choose from for cooked breakfast, we had the full english which was scrummy and filling. “Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you. I tried to plug in my firestick at the back of the telly but was put off by the avalanche of dust. Bathroom window is losing the fight against the ivy growing……
