“We stayed here for one night and we really enjoyed our stay. We arrived at the hotel at around 9pm. It was raining heavily outside, so we were quite soaked. The hotel staffs were very warm, friendly and helpful when we arrived, handing us facial tissues to dry ourselves. “I have stayed in quite many different hotels and this Riad is one of the best accommodations I have ever experienced. After a long trip from Sahara desert, I was stunned by the serene vibe of this Riad and had a refreshing shower here. “Riad Semlalia is a true oasis in the middle of the bustling Fes medina, with stunning rooms and inner courtyard, beautiful rooftop terrace with a pool, and the best breakfast we had in Morroco. “Pros: Nice riad. Beautiful courtyard. Hassan, Mohammed & team were exceptional. Their service is better than 5 star hotels. Food is great at the riad. Location is in the middle of the Medina but the front entrance leads to the parking lot which is easy for pickup & drop off. Completely safe to walk around in evening. Would return to the riad if I go back to Fes. Cons: Rooms could use a little upgrade. Toiletries were not labeled so, its hard to tell which is the hand soap. ”
