My wife ordered an Americano but got a cold coffee. We dont have any complaints however. €20 taxi trip to Ortigia though, which is expensive - and you have to visit Ortigia.”

“We arrived at 1:00pm and got our room immediately. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was delicious and with big varieties. Service in the breakfast was very good. We liked this hotel and would definitely come back.”

“The Nostos B&B is located in an old building, the conditions of which are not so appealing. The inside, however, is well docorated and the condition of the room is of very high standard. The location is midway between the railway station and old town, walking time to either is about 10 minutes. The archeological site is also walkable, at a greater distance about 20 minutes away. The inclusive breakfast is served in the restaurant of a nearby bontique hotel. The buffet breakfast is of very high……

“We had a delightful one-night stay at Villa Boscarino. The hotel is created within a classic old villa with lovely modern features. Gardens and pool tranquil. It's atop a hill in the modern area of Ragusa, but a short cab ride over to the historical Ragusa area for dinner. Parking was available for our rental car. Staff was so helpful, caring and genuinely kind. Loved Stephanie at the poolside. ”

“We lucked out finding this place for a couple of nights. The room was fabulous! We especially enjoyed the patio with comfy chairs We enjoyed the last two days of warm sunny weather at the end of the season. We had to venture to neighboring villages for dinner as the closing season saw Fontane Bianche grew quiet. The breakfast service was lovely. I would like to see more towel bars...this seems an issue with plenty of hotels. I would recommend this resort hotel to all my friends.”

“This property has it all! Parking, although not free, was close by and safe. The rooftop terrace we enjoyed immensely and the room was very nice. The island is loaded with restaurants and shopping, everything is within a short walk and very safe. We also enjoyed a boat trip around the island. Our host Manuela was very nice and friendly as well!”

“We loved the Villa Politi, a grand hotel with a very interesting history. The guest areas are spacious and the pool beautiful. The only concern we had, the dinner service was a little slow due to large tour groups dining, the staff were under pressure. We would have also appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We would definitely stay there again. ”
