Villa Massis brings the amenities to the jungle, we loved seeing monkeys on the property. The staff and food were excellent, resort offers a very intimate dining experience. “Chan Chich is an exquisite adventure melding together experiencing Mayan Ruins, jungle experience with a conservation twist. We loved our daily interactions with staff to include Cali who is an expert mixologist, Emil who made everything look easy, Sean who always had a smile, and the wonderful cook Ian. Every meal was absolutely amazing! Maria and Abdiel took care of all our needs at reception including booking excursions and chartering flights. And of course our expert guides Ruben and Louise……

“It is loca tired right on the heart of San Ignacio so very convenient , rooms are very descent… staff on arrival wasn’t very helpful we asked the guy about tours and he was talking on the phone barely greeted us and said would have to ask about that and let know later …”

“The guesthouse is located in an 80 year old historic building that is on the side of town where locals live and shop. It's a short walk from the bus terminal, San Ignacio market, Cahal Pech, Green Iguana Conservation, and other touristic sites. Max is a great host who sent us a lot of local recommendations from sightseeing places to restaurants. He also gave us recommendations on places we can go on our own, ones we needed a guide and local events that we can attend to better understand the……

“Second time staying at Ka'ana. We loved it again. The road noise has increased some. I hope with The improvements being done that more trees and bushes are planted along the side of the property adjoining the road. Maybe they will also add some more water features lessen the road noise. We love feeling as if you're in the jungle and big truck noise certainly was different hearing it this time. Still had a great time. A wonderful pool to be enjoyed by all.”
