“We stayed in one of the mobile homes (47). It was very clean. The rooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. ”

“The property was recently renovated. It is verybcomfortablen and clean while maintaining a lot of its rustic charm. Floors are squeaky, but freshly finished and clean. The bathroom had modern finishes. The syaff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Its nice that they have a restruant on site and the food was very good except the menu was a bit limited and service was a bit slow. Overall a wonderful experience in Chama and couldnt be more convenient to the railroad. Highly recommend this……

“This is our 3rd stay at “The Getaway.”It’s a wonderful place for all ages. If you need a break and place to reset from the daily grind this is the sanctuary to do so. We enjoy the quiet to read and reconnect with family on the porch over a cup of coffee or a meal at the table. Our family enjoys playing card or board games or walks down to the river. We always come home refreshed! Abby is a gracious host who provides an inviting atmosphere for all to enjoy! We look forward to returning this Fall.”

“The lodge is a perfect getaway for people looking for some quiet time. The property is very well kept and you will be amazed with the interiors. The owners definitely put in a lot of work to create a serene retreat in the mountains. The owners are friendly, come and personally greet you. There's a sauna, fire pit, hot tub and japanese style baths on the property, coupled with a well equipped kitchen, there's no reason to leave the property except to enjoy several hikes in the vicinity. “Cabin is exactly what is described. We loved to remoteness and privacy out in the woods away from neighbors. The inside is cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.”
