“The location of the cabin is unparalleled! It’s so close to the wildlife protection area you can walk there. The cabin itself is so cute and cozy, with really comfortable beds. We wished there was a little more of a living room/lounge area as the one sofa was a little cramped, but beyond that it was a really nice stay! The wrap around porch is gorgeous and although we were there on a snowy day, would have otherwise loved to enjoy the outdoor living space. Austin was super communicative and……

We had nearly half of our crew this trip and STILL wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else. I didn’t realize they had other properties in Chama so we will have to check those out our next trip! “The house was spacious and had lots of character. Our group was 5 adult men and we had plenty of space to stretch out. Location was great because we were very private with great views … but still only about 5 minutes from restaurants, grocery, and other amenities. All the large beds were very comfortable – the bunks not so much for an adult man … but overall still great. ”

It was just the right size for the two of us and had everything we could possibly need. It is beautifully built with the perfect mix of modern meets nature. I don’t think you could get closer to the Conejos River without being IN it!! The sounds, the smells and the scenery exceeded expectations! We even heard, and then saw, a bull elk rounding up his cows one morning.……
