“This is a fabulous hostel with excellent self-catering facilities, and an amazing location - ideal for those walking the west highland way in particular. The one single negative is that the ladders on the bunk beds have very narrow steps which makes it quite painful on bare feet to climb up and down.”

“Really cute and clean. The bathrooms were also clean which can sometimes be an issue at these kind of places. No moldy smells and good lighting.”

“Very nice little hostel, only 4 rooms for 3 bathrooms so it feels private. The room was great, pretty clean with a private sink, the beds were confortable and a lot of space on top of our head despite being bunk beds. Nice location with view on Ben Nevis and the breakfast was just enough and cheap for what it's worth. Enough space as well if you wish to make your own food.I would recommend if you wish to have a quiet stay near Fort William.”

“We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room. Saying this the bed was big and so so comfy after walking all day. Their was a small domino stove top, small fridge for the wine and crockery and cup/glasses all was……
