“Staying at Loyal Duke was easy for our overnight in Salida with our dogs. It was quiet, barely heard any other guests which was great. ”

“Very nice hotel with a hot tub & pool that the kids loved. My only complaint was that the TV was not hooked up to the internet (the front desk did state work would be completed mid-April, so hopefully this is fixed by the next time we stay). FYI for EV owners, there is a Ford dealership with fast & level 2 chargers next door. ”

“Expedia will not let me quickly edit an erroneous past review I made for this property. We have stayed several times and had a great time. Staff is very nice and we have always enjoyed ourselves. “Loved it! So affordable, fantastic views, spotted a moose, walked the streets with a coffee in hand taking in the glory of the old west, parking was a breeze, fantastic thrift store shopping, a nearby hike along beaver creek that IS appropriately named (you’ll spot a beaver), don’t bother eating at Otto’s (over priced, music’s too loud), will say the coffee could be stronger at the Hand BUT the rest of breakfast was tasty and well attended to. The charm of the building alone takes you back to……
