“I like staying here. Yes, it's an older property and a bit worn. The price reflects that though. The other near by properties are much higher in price but it's hit and miss on cleanliness and quietness. But here at the Anchorage it's clean. It's quiet. The staff has always greeted me with a smile and are helpful. Whenever I have to come back here for meetings I will stay at the Rochester Anchorage.”

“This historic property has been lovingly refurbished into a modern day inn. There are clean,shared bathrooms. The outside porch and sitting areas overlook the lake with fabulous views. The owner was friendly and made home made muffins for breakfast. My only complaint is the noise from the motocyclists during the evening.”

“I have stayed at the Inn for the last few years to visit my daughter for her birthday. I am a walker and have walked the Rail to Trail most times that I visit. This year it was not walkable without treckers. Suggestion: It would be great to have them available to rent!”

“Check in was easy and the girl on duty was pleasant. I asked where the breakfast room was and she pointed out the direction. We were on the 1sst floor, and I entered the room from the outside. It was clean, nothing fancy. The next morning I went to find the breakfast room and left our room thought the back door that led i to the hall, there was an awful stench, the breakfast room was dark, and no one at the frontt desk. Around 8 am the lights in the breakfast room were on and a pot of coffe was……
