“My family spend a week in Beach Haven every August and after a busy month of work travel my family and I needed a two night weekend away. With great weather a trip to LBI was just what the doctor ordered. The location is Ship Bottom was great and close to many things (as well as a minute to the beach and driving to Fantasy Island and the hustle and bustle of Beach Haven was a mere 20 minutes away. “We had a great time at this back yard cottage. The location was perfect--walking distance to both the ocean and the bay-side dog beach at Taylor Ave, along with all the great dining options Beach Haven has to offer. There's no inside dining table or counter chairs, but luckily we had good weather for eating at the outdoor patio table when not dining out. The fenced in yard was very peaceful and a nice place to hang out between activities. The bed was a little on the soft side for my body's……

“New construction in a great location in Beach Haven, walkable to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Host was accessible and responsive. My one disappointment was the “heated” saltwater pool. It never warmed to a comfortable temperature, despite our contacting host for instructions to adjust water temp. Not sure if something is wrong, but recommend host pre heat pool prior to guest arrival. It was the key reason we booked and could not enjoy the water. Everything else was lovely.”

“While my family has been to LBI many times in the past, this was the first time our granddaughters, 4 and 7, had been to the beach. It was exciting for all and we were thrilled to be so close to the beach. The bunk beds were perfect for the girls and the house was clean and comfortable.”

“We just left from a great week in LBI. The weather was picture perfect. You can’t beat the location, it’s a short block and half to the beach. There is off-street parking for one vehicle, which makes unloading and loading the car nice and easy. The house was relatively “clean” when we arrived, other than the “stuff” in the drawers and closets. We did, however, discover that the oven had obviously not been looked at prior to our arrival. It was very dirty and there was an actual stuffed shell on……

“Beautiful in the beachfront lobby. We booked the beach house. Close to the beach. The walls are thin. We heard everything from our neighbors. Some loud conversations past 10pm. Our aIr condition was extremely loud and right on the sleeper next to it. The bed was creaky. We had a great price for LBI, but we would not spend a dime more during the popular season. Owners are wonderful. Complimentary coffee, beach chairs, and towels. We had a great weekend , but no sleep. ”
