“I like staying here. Yes, it's an older property and a bit worn. The price reflects that though. The other near by properties are much higher in price but it's hit and miss on cleanliness and quietness. But here at the Anchorage it's clean. It's quiet. The staff has always greeted me with a smile and are helpful. Whenever I have to come back here for meetings I will stay at the Rochester Anchorage.”

“Very nice place and the woman at checkin was very polite. Loved being in the lower building right next to the water with an unbeatable view especially for the fall foliage. Nice clean place close to a lot of things and easy access to the highway. Would just recommend they invest in nicer pillows. Other than that couldnt be happier.”

“I have stayed here several times. It’s a great way to camp without all the fuss. You feel like you’re enjoying nature without having to pack a bunch of essentials. We stayed in a king bedroom with shower and bathroom. Everything you need is there and it’s close to grocery stores. The pond is wonderful. “Great old Dame of a hotel. Throwback, but very comfortable. I would come back.”

“Super comfortable bed, exceptionally clean, easy access into room with private entrance, nicely sanded and salted outside(winter visit), staff called to let us know that they were closing early (due to Christmas holiday) and where to get the key. That was a nice touch! Overall very satisfied with cost and would return ! Thx! ”
