“House was clean and well appointed but yard very small and right on road”

“We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as stated in the listing. It was perfectly located by Schroon Lake which was an advantage to us since we brought our boat and kayaks. The firepit was an added perk. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I accidently left my prescription glasses behind and she was kind enough to mail them to me. I would highly recommend this place and would rent it again in the future.”

“Amazing property- will book again! Was in town for a wedding weekend, house was the perfect location for us to enjoy the festivities but have our own space to relax. Loved the decor and peaceful atmosphere. Rooms were clean and cozy for the 7 of us. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. Our only suggestion is to add a full length mirror in one of the rooms, for outfit checks. We were close to Lincoln Peak winery and close to Middlebury- will rent again! ”

““2025 family vacation”Thank you for letting us stay in your home with awesome views. The house was clean, cozy, and in a perfect location to Lake Placid and numerous hiking trails. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck enjoying the views and looking up at the stars. We drove to the top of Whiteface mountain, hiked numerous trails including Hurricane mountain which you can see from the house and climbed the tower. “Place was great but owner should state upfront that there is no WIFI and NO cell service. Kind of needed the WiFi to plan out my vacation plans and not having ANY cell service whatsoever made that impossible. Place was In Great shape , VERY private , driveway was extremely steep making towing my trailer up it a little sketchy. But other than those two issues place was great! ”
