“One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed! The property and house were absolutely perfect for a relaxed family get together. Highlights included game nights, chatting on the enclosed porch, morning coffee on the back deck and a sunset bocce game…so many memories. Agree with everything written in all previous reviews, but would add that my favorite parts were the bonafide gorgeous pollinator garden and the abundance of delightful art throughout the house and property! Someone has poured some……

“Overall this was a great place to stay. We had 5 adults and a toddler and were comfortable. We brought our Cavachon and he did well too! Host was very responsive and great with work with. Only drawbacks, floors were a little dirty. If there was a regular mop, I would have cleaned the floors! Ants around the sink, and strong odor from someone’s previous pet visit. All manageable and I’d stay there again! ”

“Very private and clean…great spaces with huge yard and a lot of outside seating. Very well stocked and very comfortable. Kati was very responsive on small issue that was resolved. Centrally located for us and easy to get everywhere easily. ”

“Someone knocked on my door and jiggled with the handle several times in the night. There were bugs in the room and bathroom (stink bugs). I put a do no disturb sign on my door. And i could still tell that someone came in my room and moved things around while I was away. ”

“Our VRBO home was the perfect selection and location for our gathering of 3 generations to celebrate our youngest two boys (twins) graduation from Virginia Tech. All of us staying together under one roof, made the weekend so much more special. Instead of fighting the crowds for restauraunt reservations we were able to order in, relax, and spend more time together as a family. The home was the anchor of a great weekend. “This house was perfect! We came into town for a family reunion and this house was exactly what we needed. Each room had their own set of towels and there was a washer and dryer to do laundry. We had a slight issue with getting in (most likely user error) but Karen was great in responding and fixing the issue. If you have the chance, definitely stay here! It was great. ”
