“The room was a good size clean and organized. The pool on the other hand was freezing cold and the jets in the Jacuzzi did not work. The staff was nice and pleasant.”

“Great hotel. Very clean. Well lit parking lot with lots of spots. Convient location. While it's close to the freeway it's not as loud as you'd expect. The beds were comfortable, the staff very friendly, the pool was clean, and the breakfast had great options. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is how high the shampoo and soap bottles are connected in the shower. My kids couldn't reach where the bottles are mounted to the shower. ”

“The Heliotrope was a great small motel. Pretty close to the center of town. Not really walking distance, but a bike would be perfect. Friendly staff. Close to RR tracks but they provide earplugs. I didn't even hear the train but, my partner did. All and all a really nice spot at a good price. ”

“Requested room away from stairs and elevator and was put in a room across from stairwell. When I mentioned it to clerk, she acted as if she didn’t care. Hampton Inns are my go to places to stay so this was unusual. ”

“It was a quick stay, as we arrived late at night (after 10pm) and departed in the morning around 9am. It was pet friendly and fairly close to the border. I imagine it would have a different feel in the summer, as the pool and hot tub was closed. We were impressed by the breakfast, which wasn’t great, but exceeded our expectations. Also, a disc golf course was within a 10 minute walking distance of the hotel. BIG plus. ”
