“We chose this hotel to be close to the ballpark and it was a 10-15 minute walk, which was great. Lots of things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel, so it was nice to just leave the car with the valet and forget about it. The staff was pleasant, the complimentary brunch was plentiful and hot. Our only hitch was at check in: got there at 4:00 (check in is at 3:00) and our room wasn’t ready. When we headed to the ballpark at 5:30, still didn’t have a room, so we left our bags behind……

“I highly recommend the Candlewood. The staff were especially kind and friendly. We needed to extend our stay last minute and they made sure we did not have to change rooms. The room was perfect - spacious with a kitchenette that included a full size fridge with freezer, sink, stove, microwave and pantry cupboards with dishes, glasses and siverware. “The bathroom ceiling had hair all over it along with the bathroom walls. Like a lot of hair. It was a non smoking room but the smell of smoke hung in the air. The staff was amazing and I like the laundry room was pretty clean. My only gripe would be the that the bathroom just was not clean ”
