“Property exceeded our expectations. More than enough space for us, our adult kids, aunt and uncle, and our married chiildren at Cherry Point to get together for a family getaway. Near New Bern and Morehead, but far enough for a private retreat. We look forward to our next stay.”

“The house and property were absolutely beautiful - exactly the way it was portrayed online. I like to make breakfast on our family trips and the kitchen was fully equpped imo. The only thing missing was drinking water but luckliy we brought a case of bottled water. The house is in remote location in a quiet neighborhood. It's a perfect getaway from city life. We were 5 mintues from the Aurora Ferry. We took advantage of that and got to see Bath, Bellhaven and Washington across the Pamlico……

“We were in New Bern for a wedding with some things happening downtown and the wedding at Amelia Grove. This was the perfect place to base out of. Close to downtown and a short drive from the venue. There were just enough beds and baths for everyone and the bonus was that we were able to bring our dogs so we didn't need to board them while we were gone. Never did get a chance to check out the hot tub or spend much time in the game room or around a fire but that was fine. Would certainly……

“The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. ”

“This was our first time to New Bern and we loved our house. We were in for a family wedding and the house worked out perfectly. The location was perfect, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house was well equipped and well appointed. We would highly recommend staying at this property.”

“Place was as described, but there was no television and no coffee pot. Owner gave us late checkout to 4 PM and let us use the propane tank onsite. ”
