“This was a perfect, toasty warm, place for family to stay over the Christmas holiday. The open floor plan on the first floor is wonderful for communicating. The one year old enjoyed walking around this area. We enjoyed the big dinning table for meals, board games, and wrapping gifts. The beds were very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms have a water view in winter! The property managers are exceptionally attentive. They went above and beyond coming first thing in the morning to shovel snow!”

“This spot was perfect for my wife and two kids while we visited Bar Harbor. Except for some very minor road noise, the spot was very quiet. Lots of deer graze in this area, which testifies to the serene atmosphere. Greg stopped by when we were outside to make sure things were going well. He was very kind and receptive to our little bit of feedback. We took advantage of the nice fire pit and roasted marshmallows around the fire. Overall the property is well equipped for a small family getaway and……

“Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that……

“Nice new apartment upstairs of the garage. It’s a spacious single room (except the bathroom of course), nicely laid out with pleasant lighting through windows looking out towards the trees. The “kitchen” is minimal: a dorm-sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, water kettle and coffee maker. Sufficient for our needs but not enough for an extended stay. Given that the rental is a one-room studio with laminate flooring, the pet fee seemed a bit steep, but the apartment itself was a good bargain……

“The 2nd story apartment in Camden, ME was a spectacular choice for a long weekend with the girls. It's an easy walk (less than 5 minutes) to coffee, a deli, shops, and the harbor. The finishes may be a bit rustic for some, but we were plenty happy!”
