“Perfect”

“Excellent launching point for the National Park, really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Utilized the fire pit and grill. A lot of time and detail has gone into renovating this cottage and it shows. Did not want to leave!”

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”

“The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden……

“Everything perfect except bad toaster and TV’s were difficult to figure out for old people. We either needed a teenager or better instructions. Beds, sheets, etc were excellent. Bathroom and showers were excellent. Wonderful apartment, lots of room and excellent setup for 2 couples. Location was perfect. We walked everywhere.”

“House itself was fine for the group, check in was sent well ahead of time which was nice. It was however pretty dirty upon arrival. The master bed had dirty blankets that we had to wash and remake the bed ourselves. There were still conwebs around the house etc. This was frustrating since there is a cleaning fee that didnt seem to go to much.”

“Exactly as described! Very close to Southwest Harbor, and a short drive to lots of things to do in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Perfect for our family of four!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Quietside Cottage. We loved the quiet street for our kids to walk and ride bikes on; we loved proximity to town to be able to walk to ice cream, coffee, and restaurants. We loved proximity to hiking in Acadia, and swimming at Echo lake. We loved proximity to the SW bus stop to be able to get to Bar Harbor without a car. In terms of the house itself, the three season room was our favorite place to be - very comfortable for our kids and for us. The bedrooms were small……
