“When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. It looked to be very comfortable and roomy, and had a relatively large fridge, so I accepted. Never regretted the decision. The property location is convenient for exploring multiple fun areas and activities in North western PA and South western NY balanced with the house providing an accomodating experience. It's difficult to find a vacation rental that offers it all, so having waterfront access with kayaks, a firepit, and a hot tub helped make for a wonderful vacation ”

“Absolutely beautiful home!! Loved the front room with the large front window and magnificent view of the lake. Our morning gathering spot in the house. Evenings spent either at the extra large dining room table or outside at the cozy fire pit. Large bathrooms were very clean and had all the necessities. The location of this house was perfect for us. Just a short walk to breakfast, convenience store and the kayaking rentals. Sunset kayak guided tour was amazing !! We totally recommend this home……
