“Perfect location with great views as you leave the property and head towards Estes Park. Cute with all the necessities and extras. The bathroom has a beautiful design. I would recommend new bath towels as all of them had bleach spots but otherwise everything was great! ”

“As adult ski bums, we tried out 4 Winter Park inns under $200/night in this season. Viking Lodge is our favorite and the least expensive. It is an old lodge and exactly what they advertise: a very basic room with private bath and a refrigerator. If you can enjoy an old fashioned ski lodge, this is a perfect place. (If you need glamour and upscale, this is not your place.) The room was very comfortable with lots of extra pillows. There is no breakfast (same as 2 of the other lodges we stayed……

“Pros: Space, views, location. The view is spectacular. Good space for entertaining a family and having meals at home. Overall it was a nice homebase for exploring Colorado.Cons: living room screen door to porch is off the tracks, some of the windows don’t unlock to crank open, need better instructions on regulating heat/air, the garage floor needs cleaned out several inches of dirt, garage door wouldn’t close at one point and when I called left message and emailed..around 6:15pm on a……

“Thanks to the “hosts” of this beautiful, comfortable home. They have thought of everything you might need for the humans to our pets! Was very happy to find “guest” dog kennel and doggie beds in garage, dog bowls and potty bags”! Home was extremely clean and had all our family needed after long days of fishing. Kitchen is fully equipped, beds super comfy and very quiet neighborhood. Thank you! Will definitely stay again. ”

“This spot is an incredible find. It’s immaculate. Well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Owners are great communicators. Everything has clear instructions. It is beside the railroad but at least for us, railroad traffic stopped at 10p and started at 6a… so we got 8 hours of sleep uninterrupted. ”
