“The front desk was very accomodating. It was a lot of rain and the room smelled like wetness and dogs. I went to the front desk and asked for a air freshner spray and was given one. Very accommodating.”

“Had a decent time at Rhodes. The room was clean, everyone was friendly and it's a solid location. We were able to book with short notice with zero issues. Parking works nicely, and there's a fair amount of things around. We had a nice view of the mountains. My only complaint (sort of) was that our balcony was right above the vent for the kitchen for the attached restaurant, and it smelled strongly of grease so we didn't spend much time out there.”

“I had to book an emergency trip to Boone from California for the early arrival of my granddaughter. Comfort Suites had reasonable rates and a room large enough to accommodate me and my daughter and her new baby when she was released from the hospital. The team here at the hotel were the nicest people I have ever met during a hotel stay. Ashley went way above and beyond offering me charging cords when I forgot mine and extra bedding needed to accommodate our new arrivals. The cleaning team……

“It was a night stopover to visit friends right off main road. Rm 107 had a bed with a bad mattress seemed to have an indent on the edge. And the tv had to have the plug pulled out it would not turn off. Refrigerator was cold and shower was hot and good pressure but tub looked old. Would try it again. Close to food. Applebees across the street.”

“We have stayed at Boxwood Lodge several times over the past two years. Love the location, walkable to town. Rooms are very nice. Nothing extravagant, just clean and comfortable. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. But are totally fine for a night or two. Staff is very friendly ”
