“Art at the front desk was and is a blessing. His kindness, warmth, and he was very welcoming. My vehicle broke down last Friday heading to Loveland from Houston TX and we were devastated. We were stranded here in Trinidad (we never been here) and I used up all of my AAA tows trying to get my vehicle fixed. Art went over and beyond to make sure my sonand I. “The beds felt uneven. The foot of my wife's bed was lower than the head. My bed was not level from one side to the other. Other than that, the property was very clean and we were made very welcomed by the staff. If you have special diet needs such as diabetic needs, you wouldbe better served by bringing your own breakfast supplies.”

“This motel is in a very convenient spot off the highway. Check in was fine. The room was dated but the furnishings were fine and things seemed clean. The main problem was it was too warm for me to sleep. There was a gas heater that even when I turned the thermostat all the way down did not really turn off. The air conditioner didn't really seem to be working. There was one tiny window in the bathroom that wasn't enough to let the heat out and cold air in. I don't sleep all that well anyway,……

“Beautiful cabin, with beautiful views. Short drive to trails near by and small bodies of water. I recommend to any large group. ”

“It is a journey to get here from TX, but it was exactly what we needed. Fresh air, nature, and wildlife abound. We awoke to chipmunks chasing each other and then off to the Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls. It ate up a whole day with hiking and sand. We came back at sunset and saw 2 elk and 20 deer. It was such a great experience.”
