“We were blown away by this place! Everything about it was fantastic, and we wished we were staying there longer. Adults and kids both loved it. Rooms were set up so well, beds were comfortable, all details were thoughtful, everything was so clean. No coffee in the room, but good quality coffee and breakfast items available for purchase in their lobby/cafe. Very friendly and helpful staff. ”

“The location is good. We entered Joshua tree state park from south entrance and out gate of west entrance in the afternoon. We checked in the hotel and took a shower. We grab some food and entered the park again for sunset and night sky. ”

“The location of this home is amazing, being near Joshua Tree and right across the street from hiking. The home is as nice as portrayed in the ad, with plenty of space for a variety of activities. The home is well equipped and very nicely decorated. We didn't experience any issues with the home during our stay and the owners were quick to respond and easy to communicate with.”

“We loved our stay! Our family spent the Thanksgiving holiday here, craving privacy, luxury, and comfortable accommodations, and this house delivered. We enjoyed a delicious pizza night using the pizza oven and prepared a few side dishes for Thanksgiving in the gorgeous, well-equipped kitchen! “My friends, family, and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Desert Shire! The house itself was very clean and well kept, essentials like TP and towels were provided and in abundance which was appreciated for a party of 7. Tile work in bathroom was amazing! Rooms were equipped with awesome A/C units that kept us cool after hiking around JT and Pioneertown (both extremely close by and convenient) and the beds were very comfy!! Outside had really comfy hammock chairs and ample seating around fire pit……

“This was a perfect house for our visit to the Joshua Tree area. The host was over-the-top accommodating and available for questions. Honestly, one of the best hosts we've had! The property is lovely, quiet, close to everything and "chic" in many ways. The layout, amenities, and decor were very comfortable. Highly recommend it!!”
