“We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. “Radim is a excellent host, very friendly and showed us all around the home and property. I was traveling with my 2 teens and 22 year old. The house is nicely remodeled and decorated with just about everything you can or will need. There are 2 coffee makers plus coffee and teas, all kinds of sweeteners, little jams, some seasonings for cooking and so much more. Truly well stocked and organized. “It’s a very nice and cozy house in a quiet location. We saw deer walking around everyday. The owner replies message every quickly. No gap in communication. Everything is new, clean and well prepared. The house is decorated with all Christmas elements, even prepared a box for kids to make their own Christmas tree decorations. It’s about 40min driving distance to Dodge Ridge Ski resort. 15min to Twain Harte Grocery Market. Overall highly recommended.”

“Very cozy and spacious. It easily sleeps 8 people. The host was very nice and easy to communicate. He would keep us posted with the weather and instructions for the house. He let us check in and out without any time restrictions. The place is just 20 min drive from the dodge ridge ski resort. The place was very tidy and clean with the exception of the fridge and the microwave. I would strongly recommend it to stay. ”
