“Kamer heeft een update nodig. De verhouding van de staat van de kamer, een douche die het niet goed deed en het uitzicht vanuit het raam op allerlei buizen en binnenplaats was echt overprized ivh tot andere lodges. Het worst enigszins goed gemaakt door het geweldige natuurgebied. Maar dit was onze tweede ervaring die tegenviel na de eerste. Heel jammer. ”

“Dit verblijf heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. De manier waarop het is ingericht, met oog voor detail en zeer mooie muurtekeningen door de gastvrouw gemaakt. Het verblijf en de kamer zijn wat dat betreft een ontdekkingstocht geweest. Zowel de gastvrouw als gastheer zijn begeesterd en heel vriendelijk. Zij doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Een verzorgd ontbijt, op wandelafstand een restaurantje met goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding en een supermarkt met beperkt……

“Our stay at Onduri Lodge was amazing. The photos on the website do not do the place justice. The individual cottages rest high on a ridge overlooking their 30K acre farm, most of which is reserved for wild game which in include Giraffe, Wildebeast, Springbok, Eland, Oryx and more. Some of which you can see right from the balcony on the lodge or your cottage with a pair of binoculars. We enjoyed fabulous family-style meals each day with farm-to-table ingredients. Be sure to book a game drive on……

“The worst thing was that Wotif sold me accommodation that did not exist. For a group of ten, that was a problem. The staff were very helpful in sorting something else. Wotif was a near disaster. Property has moved and is under construction. Taking tht into account, it was excellent. We had dinner. We had two people who were gluten free and told them. Part of dinner was not gluten free, but they did then prepare something appropriate.”

“Die beste Unterkunft unseres Namibiaurlaubs. Marianna und Piet waren sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die alles für das Wohlergehen meiner Freundin und mir gegeben haben. Das inkludierte Frühstück und Abendessen fiel sehr reichhaltig aus und war absolut lecker (ihr solltet nach dem Kürbis in Zucker fragen!!!). Das Gasthaus ist eine Oase in der zur Zeit sehr trockenen Gegend, die voller Charme und Erinnerungen steckt. Für Exkursionen jeglicher Art kann ebenfalls gesorgt werden.”

“Etendeka offered a very different experience and one which we thoroughly enjoyed. It would not suit everyone though. The drive from the pick up point is over an hour but provided opportunities for wildlife spotting. Our tent was comfortable and as expected. All meals were eaten at one long table and the food was good and in home cooked style. The trips out, the morning walk and afternoon drive were excellent. When we returned to our car the next day to find a flat tyre due to puncture and flat……
