“What a sweet property. I only wish it was spring or summer so we could have enjoyed the grounds. When you go to an owner managed property you appreciate the small details that go into making your stay special. We happened to have brought our pup on this quick trip up to Ithaca to watch our sons play lacrosse against Cornell. When we arrived to the room there was a dog sheet for the bed (smart), a towel, a water bowl and of course a treat. The room was decorated minimally with midcentury modern……

“The Knickerbocker room is beautifully decorated and has been tastefully updated. The bathroom is a really good size. There is also a cute private balcony. The home is very clean and doesn’t have any unpleasant smells that many older homes have. This B&B is close to many attractions in the Finger Lakes region. A local coffee shop is within walking distance. There are also many wineries and breweries in the area. We did find that due to the time of year, many places either close early or……

“Beautiful room and home, very clean!! Loved the amenities too. Amazing bathroom. Only issue was that the walls were very thin and we could hear everything other guests were doing. Since there are no TVs in the rooms, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop at times. We felt like we had to whisper inside our room. Perfect for a quiet getaway but bring earplugs just in case there’s a snorer in the next room.”

“The stay was great! We were dropping our son off at Ithaca college and my brother came as well. There was plenty of room for all of us to be independent and comfortable. The place was so clean, it seemed like we were the first to ever stay there. The coffee shop on-site was also great! We had everything we needed to make a few meals there as well. ”
