“We were going to Martha's Vineyard for a wedding. We decided to come down a day early and stay in Falmouth. The Iris looked nice online and had an indoor pool (important to my wife). The staff was very friendly, the rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the lobby was impressive. The pool made my wife very happy and gym had the equipment I needed. “It was a beautiful old hotel in town (New Bedford). That gave it a lot of character integrated with the room being updated nicely with modern conveniences. I was on the 5th floor and had a great view of the city and partially of the harbor. My daughter and her husband-to-be live a couple blocks away. Because they have off street parking, I left my car there and they picked me up during my stay for Mother’s Day weekend. That was an inconvenience to work around.
