“The hotel was an old one but well kept & properly maintained. It was clean with all the essential supplies for a traveler required in a hotel room. It was located in the small town centre with shops & groceries within a few minutes walk. Just a few minutes drive we could get to wineries, chocolate factory & so on. We had stayed one night only this time, and would stay again if returning to Yarra Glen.”

“We loved every minute of our stay at this charming, older-style hotel. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. While the shared bathrooms were initially a concern, we decided to give it a go—and we’re glad we did! The setup was clean and well-maintained, and the great value more than made up for it. “Some of the old reviews had made us nervous about this place, but we were pleasantly surprised. The motel room had been "refreshed" and was clean with a good shower and comfortable bed. Good budget accommodation in a great location for shops and transport, but back from the highway, so quite and secure.”

“What a wonderful stay. We Received a warm personal welcome from the owners before arrival. Very clear instructions for check in as we were running late. They even lit the fire pit for us prior to arrival. ”

“Had an amazing stay. I stayed in the Garden Cottage and it was beautiful. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and they supplied plenty of wood for the open fire. An added bonus was breakfast supplies in the fridge including bacon and eggs and the bread they had was delicious as well. The grounds were quiet and it was an easy walk to both lower and upper Olinda. Lots of cafes and hiking spots close by as well. I’ll definitely be staying here for my next getaway. ”
