“Second stay here - returning after a previous visit in 2018. The same 3-bed room is as impeccable as before (with one new decorative item), but most importantly the helpful staff is a newly-discovered plus: accidentally left behind a bottle of whisky in the room and I was already in another town once I noticed that, then after contacting the hotel everything's sorted out at once and a few days later the bottle arrived safely in very proper packaging (done better than what I usually do for……

“The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. This coastal town allows you to feel disconnected, without having to be too far from the mainland. I would definitely suggest taking a taxi from the ferry……

“I enjoyed the stay. The room was quiet, the bathroom was new, check in was quick, the price was very good, bar was comfortable, drinks were not expensive. Didn't have breakfast. If you are looking for romantic stay then this is not the place but i think it was good and has character.”
