“Stayed at the Light Horse Inn for two nights. Absolutely loved it. You have to manage expectations because this isn't an ultra modern hotel with a restaurant, bar workout facilities, etc. However if you love history, antiques and the charm of a very unique stay, Light Horse Inn is for you. The room was very large and decorated with timeless antiques. They are very responsive via text for any questions, concerns. “So I had to book a place big enough for a large family last minute and found this property and let me tell you this property was spacious and breathtaking! Had a everything we needed for a home away from home! The fridge and stove were a dream! The plus was having washer/dryer access, hot tub and a massage chair! Oh and the tower!! “This is a hard review to write. The outdoor space included with this rental is awesome - gorgeous gardens, refreshing pool, nice tiki bar area. The only downside is that route 340 is VERY close, so there is a lot of highway noise (including loud truck brakes). We nevertheless enjoyed the outdoor amenities. The apartment is a true basement; if you are over 6 feet tall you may hit your head on a couple of door jambs. And you hear quite a bit of walking noise from above. We were also frustrated……
