“The stay at Mrs. Doris' Ocean Pearl was wonderful. The cable was out in the room and the water went out the first day, but those were both beyond the hotel's control. Mrs. Doris was absolutely wonderful and was extremely accommodating. This is the perfect destination for those looking to get away from the world and slow down. Go visit Bishop next door and be sure to order the Crack Conch Dinner in the Ocean Peal kitchen.”

“We loved staying here, however, it was far enough that we had to take a taxi wherever we went. It was more of an Air B& B set up rather than a Bed & Breakfast. I appreciated that the host was personable and showed us around the area. ”

Literally off grid- no:internet,phones limited to local only, after snorkelers leave for the day you literally are alone( except a grounds keeper who lives there)there is no one for miles Closest place to Stuart Coves Tiger shark dives without playing three times more at old Bahama bay. this is a cabin on the beach with fantastic snorkeling,sunsets, and starry nights. Only caution is the noseeums- TAKE A BUG REPELLENT.”

“Great stay Staff were very accommodating and friendly !!! So soon after the hurricane there was a lot of trash and debris. But cottage was perfect! I would definitely recommend Bootle bay ! Private beach right in front of cottage views where unbelievable. ”
