“We had one night at The Farmhouse Inn, and we would have loved to stay longer. The garden is beautiful, the air is fresh and it is so quiet as it is a few km from the main road. Even though it is nothing fancy, the beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. The evening before we were asked what we wanted for breakfast the following day, and it is my impression that they can cook all the basic breakfast dishes that you need. Would definitely recommend and come back another time.”

“This property is nothing like the description or photos on Expedia. When challenged at check in the properties management stated that the descriptions were those of Expedia not of their own!! This is a One Star property charging Four Star prices probably due to local demand! The rooms smelt musty and were not attractive at all. “The hotel is nice situated, near shops and restaurants. But everything in this place is very poor: the service (money is more important than good service), they try to get money by insunuating that you didn’t pay enough for the room, that the complimentary breakfast is for one person (although booked a double room for 2 persons). The room is very poor, you can choose between being burned by too hot water or take a cold shower. Wifi is not working. The service in the restaurant is very slow,……

“We enjoyed the trip thoroughly, the only setback was that there was no wifi at the hotel. Otherwise we had excellent food, and the view of Mt Kenya from the room was awesome. The hotel is aptly named.”

“Isiolo is a small town, 40,000 people. There are not a lot of accomodations. One good thing about the hotel is the fact that it has an elevator and limited parking. It is clean. The staff are very friendly, but probably Kenyans are gentle in general. The hot water did not always work. The restaurant offering are limited, even for a small town.”
