“I loved this place so much that I ended up booking an extra night. My room was spotless. The walls are a bit thin, as it is an old building, but that wasn’t an issue. The hotel backs up to the dunes and it’s super easy to get right onto the beach. This will be the only place I stay at from now on in OBX. ”

“The property was fresh and clean and I forgot to bring a couple things but no worries the thoughtfulness of the property owner those items were already in our room at no additional cost or having to contact anyone. “Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”

“Overall a great condo in Kill Devil Hills with easy access to the beach and restaurants. You can see the Wright Brothers Memorial from the balcony. The property was clean and well maintained. We loved that this property was pet friendly and our dachshund loved it. We had one maintenance issue while we were here and First Flight Rental was easy to get in contact with and fixed this issue in a timely manner. The pictures for the fitness area on the property are deceiving and we found this area……
