“Here with three friends for girls getaway. Love the property, close proximity to town, walkability, parking. Loved the grounds. No full length mirrors in room, nor hangars for clothing. Because part of the building is from the 1800's, the renovations have "piped in air-con" with was through a vent in the window, but it did work.”

“The hotel is like a step back in time but with all modern amenities including an elevator. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, rooms were comfortable, AC worked very well, and restaurant food was very good. Would definitely stay here again!”

“just a fun, funky little town - the union hotel goes way back - would love to have seen it in its hey day! and if you can get a room (only 2 of 4) with direct balcony access even better (but you can access the balcony from the hallway for the other 2 rooms) - homemade breakfast (you get a selection) is - well - special - as is the super cool lady who does it all: hostess, waitress, busser - and most importantly - *chef*!! she's remarkable! want to go back on a friday to experience some of their……

“Radim is a excellent host, very friendly and showed us all around the home and property. I was traveling with my 2 teens and 22 year old. The house is nicely remodeled and decorated with just about everything you can or will need. There are 2 coffee makers plus coffee and teas, all kinds of sweeteners, little jams, some seasonings for cooking and so much more. Truly well stocked and organized. “We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages.
