“We stayed so that my granddaughter couple compete in a dance competition. It was a great stay! Clean. Friendly staff. Pool and hot tub were clean and perfect temperatures!!”

“This feels like a quaint hideaway right on Lake Superior. I love the deck that allows for sitting and listening to the waves. Underground parking is a must in the cold winter! ”

“We really loved the art all around the building. Very esthetically pleasing. It was exactly what we were hoping for. Parking was the only downside. Overall it was a great place! It was a very special weekend getaway for us and we got engaged in the room. The set up we got for the romance proposal package was wonderful and really made it special. ”

“The one thing i didnt like was the tv didnt work as intended. We tried to hook up our game system and follow the instructions but it was wouldnt work. So we talked to the front desk for help and she was super helpful and explained what we had to do. She had us unplug your guys system completely and plug ours in then it worked.”

“Super-fun and unique house to spend a skiing long weekend! You're in a small area of woods, and you're by the slopes, and you can see the city view at night -- all of those together! Can't beat the ski-in, ski-out setup, the only such setup at Spirit Mountain. Finally, staff were uncommonly-helpful and friendly when I initially made a booking mistake and got back to me at 7 am with a corrected booking.”

“Extremely icy driveway and walkway. Was dark and not lit the best. The shower head flew off the shower too. They had said they’d send maintenance for that and the walkways but didn’t. The place was absolutely beautiful. The room and bed were fantastic. I would still go again”

“Great location and a cozy place! Easy drive to nearby hikes/Duluth/attractions. Our group of 5 also had fun watching freight trains pass (did not disturb sleep)!”

“This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely.
