“Very nice property in a great location in the center of a very welcoming little town. Room was small, but had all conveniences and then some. In-house restaurant was excellent. Breakfast does not start until 8:30, not convenient for travelers getting an early start.”

The house is nicely remodeled and decorated with just about everything you can or will need. “It took over an hour for me to be able to get into the cabin - wrong code for door. I received the correct code the next day. A door was left opened and that is how I was able to get inside - very unsafe. No napkins and no response. It took a little over 30 minutes to be able to get inside the community because of car check in. I was told parking was $40 per car and when I arrived it was $50. I asked for the listed price to be honored and was told no. I was told twice that I would get a response……

“We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing,……

“The cabin is perfect for my size family. They also had everything you need in the house and they didn’t mind us using it. However, it was a little hot and though there is AC, circulation was not great but it was still comfortable enough. I surely tell friends and family to rent this place.”
