“This is a bit of a dated hotel, but it was still fairly nice. Our rooms air conditioner was totally frosted over, so not working. The maintenance guy was really nice and came right away. They moved us to a slightly nicer room before they even had him come though. The pool area was really nice and the pool was really warm. We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. ”

“We were in Spokane for a Black Happy concert and needed a place to rest our weary heads. To our delight the Montvale was within walkimg distance to the venue. We ordered food from one of the many restaurants and the parking was also convenient. The ceilings are high, and the windows are huge, a testament to how buildings used to be built. The history of the hotel is very interesting, and there is a wonderful coffee shop next door. Although the hotel does offer free coffee and a wonderful……

“Beautiful, peaceful, clean property. The complimentary coffee paired well with the back porches incredible view was very nice to have. Our family really loved the steam & sauna rooms. The room was spacious, clean, and has everything you need in the kitchen. I would recommend to bring groceries or there is a grocery store 15-20 mins near Spirit Lake. Our family will definitely be back and we recommend this place.”
